Opinions on an oufit for Molly

Molly is coming in non-Molly, non-AG clothes, so I just thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone had any opinions on what ONE outfit I should get.

I think that I can buy the Meet outfit as a replacement part, so cast your vote for it or for any other outfit.

Also, if you happen to have an extra of a Molly outfit, or one you want to get rid of, you can PM me on that as well. I would be willing to pay about $15 for a used outfit.

The Route 66 outfit would be more than perfect for her to travel in . . . . [img]frown.gif[/img]

Route 66 gets my first choice vote too. It looks comfortable and nice for different climates. The plaid jumper with the blouse is a favorite of mine too. Have fun deciding.

Well, the Route 66 outfit is sold out/NLA. I did call and confirm this, since it's been listed as sold out, but it's still on the website. [img]frown.gif[/img]

I would say either her school outfit or her Gowanigan outfit. They are more 'normal' clothes and she would be more comfortable in them.

I agree with the above! The Camp outfit would be very cute for a summer traveling doll!

I asked DD since Molly is her first doll. She first said Rt. 66 then when I explained you could no longetr get it she thought the camp outfit. The Rt. 66 really wrinkles so it might not be the best for traveling anyway. It is my favorite though.

Remember that these traveling dolls are sometimes traveling through more than one season. While the camp outfit would be great, you might want to add her after-school outfit as well. The camp shirt also goes well with her cords. and the plaid flannel shirt can be used as a light jacket. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Edited to add that Molly can wear her saddle shoes and red hair ribbons with both of these outfits, too.

Route 66 is my favorite, it makes her eyes look fiercly blue, but it does wrinkle, and since it's no longer available, I think I would vote for her school dress. I love the pleats.

My first vote is the camp outfit...

but on second thought, my second vote goes to the After School outfit. Molly lived in the "change out of your school clothes" era, so she wouldn't have played in that at all. On the flip side, it's more dressy, so she would be presentable to strangers.
Plus, since it's a core outfit, she is more likely to travel to a home that has it.
